The B&O Yorkville Run race takes place on September 9, 2018. Guntime is 9:45 AM.

The B&O Yorkville Run is a premier, boutique, 5K race that takes place in the beautiful Yorkville community every September. It unites elite and local runners and businesses to raise funds for local programs and initiatives. In addition to its fundraising achievements, the B&O Yorkville Run was named Canada's fastest 5K road race for five consecutive years.

Early registration opens for returning participants committing to fundraise a minimum of $100, on April 16th at 12:00 PM. A unique code will be sent to you at 12:00PM April 16th to register and secure your spot before the run is opened to the general public and sells out.

General Registration: Any remaining spots will be available to the general public on June 15th for $125+HST

The 9th annual B&O Yorkville Run's race kit is our best yet, worth over $300.   • Plus 2 weekend long runs!  July 14th & August 18th 8AM-10AM

*Non members must sign in at Admin desk to use the club facilities (change room, lockers, steam ONLY. No access to equipment or classes) and abide by all Equinox rules and regulations.

By registering for the B&O Yorkville Run, you're committing to a minimum fundraising goal of $100.00 per runner.  Upon registering, you have the opportunity to start hitting your fundraising goals right away by sending an email to your contacts!  If by race kit pick up day you have not reached the $100.00 minimum, you will be responsible for the commitment to your selected charity.

In our experience, participants who fundraise as part of a team raise 60 per cent more funds than participants who fundraise alone. Forming a team -- whether it's with your family, friends, or co-workers -- is an effective way to harness support for your selected charity while exercising your leadership and team building skills.

Each team requires a Team Captain who creates the team and selects a team passcode to share with potential team members. The Team Captain is responsible for recruitment, encouraging team members, and keeping fundraising efforts on track.

Participants who register to fundraise as part of a team will have both a personal fundraising webpage and a team page to track progress, publish personal and collective goals, and share news with potential donors.


All finishers in the B&O Yorkville Run will receive customized medals. Cash and category prizes will only be distributed to participants in the Championship Run.

Race Day Itinerary:

9:00 AM  Canadian 5K Road Race Championship commences
9:20 AM  Canadian 5K Road Race Championship concludes
9:30 AM  Warm-up and stretch 
9:45 AM  B&O Yorkvile Run commences
10:30 AM Awards Ceremony commences, running prizes distributed (you must be there in person to claim your prize)
10:45 AM Course Closes

A VIP reception will serve hors d'oeuvres from local restaurants from 10:00-11:00 AM.

Complimentary baggage check will be available at the race site.
